The purpose of our presence at the Carnival is to share with the
community our common history in the loss of ARIA 328 and the
history of the Advanced Range Instrumentation Aircraft Program. We
informed the community of the construction of the ARIA 328 Memorial and
provided them a way to participate in supporting the Memorial.
The Carnival ran from Monday July 2nd to Saturday July 7th. This year we
were joined at the booth on Friday by Terry and Pat Moore. Terry is an
ARIA Alumni and traveled from Ohio to join us. Pat joined Melody in face
painting and balloon creations.
This year we were visited by ARIA 328 Family members. Your visit and your
support means a lot to us.
I want to thank all of those who stopped by the booth this year. You made
our presence at the Carnival most enjoyable and we thank you for your
donations.
I also want to thank the representatives of the organizations that stopped
by that want to help with the construction of the Memorial.
We thank John Zimmerman and the Walkersville Fire Department for
supporting the construction of the ARIA 328 Memorial and again for
supplying us a great spot at the Carnival.
Finally I want to than Milton and Deloris Denn for their hospitality in
making Melody and I feel at home when visiting Walkersville.
