Advanced/Apollo Range
Instrumentation Aircraft Reunion
We are in the planning stages for
the ARIA 2011 reunion and we need your help.
Our first official
ARIA reunion was held on the weekend of May 5, 2001, at the National Museum of
the Air Force, Dayton, Ohio. May 6, 2001, marked the 20th anniversary of the
loss of our ARIA family on ARIA 61-0328. On May 6, 2001, we paid tribute to the
crew and passengers of ARIA 61-0328 with a memorial ceremony. The weekend was a
celebration of ARIA friends and family and we celebrated the lives of those who
were no longer with us.
Our second official ARIA reunion started on
May 5, 2006, with a picnic near
Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, and continued throughout the weekend on a sea
cruise. On May 6, 2006, there was a wreath laying ceremony at sea to pay tribute
to the ARIA 61-0328
crew and passengers.
2011 will mark the 30th anniversary of the loss of ARIA 328 and will be our 30th
reunion. Those of us that were able to attend the previous reunions know that it
was an experience that we want to be a part of again. We don't want you to miss
out on such a wonderful experience.
If you are an ARIA Alumni, or a
friend of ARIA, you are welcomed to join us for the reunion. We welcome you and
your family to attend the reunion and make it part of your family vacation. We
want to see you there.
Your input will give us insight on
how to best proceed with the reunion plans. We appreciate you taking the time to
complete the form.
